Leaders who will help you stand firm (1 – 4)
The church needs leaders who help us to stand firm in God’s grace by being willing eager examples.
Humbly standing in the faith (5 – 11)
All of us are called to humbly stand in our faith in Jesus. We need to stop being proud – hand over our worries to God – and stand under His mighty hand – in time he will lift us up.
Standing in God’s grace (12 – 14)
Peter finishes by saying that he has written to encourage us that “this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it … PEACE to all of you who are in Christ.”
His grace is the only thing worth standing on. And on that day when he returns he is going to make all things new, including you if you are standing firm in his grace, so STAND FIRM!
