Be mastered by God’s Word
As God’s Word master’s God’s children the evidence will be clear in their lives.
Don’t reject it
Many still reject God’s Word which is desperately sad because it means they have rejected God’s salvation and therefore stand under God’s wrath.
The Word of God is THE Word of God
It is vitally important that we have a correct view of God’s Word and that we correctly handle God’s Word.
If we have a correct view of God’s Word, if we really start delighting in it, desiring it and depending on it, then God will be greatly glorified through us as we live His way.
Don Carson says, “To our shame, we have hungered to be masters of the Word much more than we have hungered to be mastered by it.”
We need to increasingly be a people who are mastered by God’s Word.
